Senior Buyer

The position requires advanced skills in the area of procurement, being able to efficiently source the right quantity of materials as per company quality standards at competitive prices. The candidate must hold a Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with knowledge of materials/ warehousing /purchasing with at least 7 years work experience in a similar capacity.

 

Contracts Engineer

The position requires in depth knowledge of procurement, strong negotiation skills with suppliers and vendors, tender processing, which includes preparation of tender documents, tender bid evaluation. Preparation of reports, the candidate is also required to administrate existing contract renewals, renegotiation of contract terms and contract terminations. The candidate must hold a Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Business International Certification in Supply Chain Management with at least 5 years work experience in a similar capacity.

 

Mechanical Maintenance Section Head

The Candidate should demonstrate strong skills and experience in preventive and reactive maintenance, in ensuring the smooth functioning of Fixed Machinery, Pump houses equipment, Air and Fluid networks, mobile compressors, generators, industrial transport equipment, mobile cranes, rail cranes, man-lifting platforms, passenger vehicles, Dock side Arms, etc. The incumbent is expected to plan, design, propose and advise the superiors on cost effective and quality works as per the procedures of Quality Systems of international standards as well as the Yard’s documented Quality Management System, QEH&S Manual and Policies. The candidate must hold a Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Certification in Automobile/ Heavy Construction Equipment Engineering with minimum 5 years work experience in a similar capacity.

 

Supervisor (Piping)

The Candidate should demonstrate strong skills and experience to supervise and provide technical guidance to the team/subcontractors, ensuring all aspects of performance and works are in compliance with the project specifications and priorities. To ensure that all works are completed on time and to the company standards and clients’ expectations and in compliance with all HSE policies, practices, procedures and budget constraints. The incumbent is expected to manage all aspects of piping fabrication, installation, inspection and quality control. The candidate is also required to identify the work on board together with Project Manager and Superintendent and to provide information to the work preparation.The candidate must hold a Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with the ability to read & understand the construction drawings, oversee the installation and repair of piping systems, propose pipe modifications as required and deal with class surveyors, with at least 6 years work experience in a similar capacity

 

Supervisor (Welding)

The Candidate should demonstrate strong skills and experience to supervise and provide technical guidance to the team/subcontractors, ensuring all aspects of performance and works are in compliance with the project specifications and priorities. To ensure that all works are completed on time and to the company standards and clients’ expectations and in compliance with all HSE policies, practices, procedures and budget constraints. The incumbent is expected to manage all aspects of welding processes, inspection and quality control. The candidate is also required to identify the work on board together with Project Manager and Superintendent and to provide information to the work preparation.
The candidate must hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor Degree would be an added advantage) with the ability to perform NDT, carry out heat treatment on special materials and knowledge of welding procedures and welding equipments, with at least 6 years work experience in a similar capacity.

 

Supervisor (Plating)

The Candidate should demonstrate strong skills and experience to supervise and provide technical guidance to the team/subcontractors, ensuring all aspects of performance and works are in compliance with the project specifications and priorities. To ensure that all works are completed on time and to the company standards and clients’ expectations and in compliance with all HSE policies, practices, procedures and budget constraints. The incumbent is expected to manage all aspects of steel fabrication, installation, inspection and quality control. The candidate is also required to identify the work on board together with Project Manager and Superintendent and to provide information to the work preparation.
The candidate must hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor Degree would be an added advantage) with full understating of IACS rules. He must be able to read & understand the construction drawings, propose structural modifications as required, deal with class surveyors and should have the knowledge on plate forming and line heating, with at least 6 years work experience in a similar capacity.

 

(Plater/Fabricator- Welder)

Required Skills& Qualifications

• The ability to layout, position, aligns and secure steel parts and assemblies using appropriate tools.
• The ability to read fabrication drawings, WPS and good understanding of weld numbering and identification marking.
• The ability to set up and use welding machines FCAW, SMAW. SAW also would be advantageous.
• The ability to set up and use cutting torch (oxy fuel gas) in all positions as well as pre-heat equipment.
• Understand safe working practices.
• Must be able to exert physical strength sufficient to lift and carry , also the ability to bend and stoop
• Ideally Certified FCAW 4G welding ability with minimum 4G SMAW. SAW welding certified would be an added advantage.
• Trade Apprenticeship with 3 years’ experience in similar capacity.

 

Candidates with understanding of English language (Read & Write), who must have 6 years working experience in a similar position in heavy construction shipyard or oil & gas with relevant certificates, testimonials and work experience, should forward their detailed resume together with 2 recent photographs and passport copies within two weeks.

Accounts Manager

Responsibilities:
• Prepare, develop and analyse management accounting information and provide high quality support service to line managers/officers in the organisation.
• Prepare, develop and maintain an efficient budgetary control system.
• Manage and control all insurance policies of ASRY.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Technical Training Specialist

• Develops, organizes and implements training programs across the organization.

Senior Admin Officer

Performs a variety of human resources administration functions, including but not limited to: administering benefits, entering employee information into the automated resource system, maintaining personnel files, providing counseling, and maintaining up to date records and filing system.

Responsibilities:
• Responds to HR data requests from within HR and other functions.
• Completes monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc HR reporting and data analysis.
• Maintaining and updating employee records and paperwork.
• Maintaining physical and digital personnel records like employment contracts, renewals, etc.

Training and Development Manager

Function & Responsibilities

  • the planning, developing and administering the Company’s training and development processes
  • managing the individual career development program
  • preparing the annual training budget, plan and related reports
  • designing training and development policies and procedures
  • aligning strategically  all  training  logistics to  include identifying  and  securing training  locations,  course preparation, administration, evaluation and
  • Ensures that recruitment procedures are in line with Company’s employee development plans
  • Succession planning in collaboration with the respective departmental/divisional heads.
  • To ensure an acceptable standard of Quality, Environmental, OHSAS and Security Management System is maintained in accordance with recognized working practices and the Company’s QEHS&S Manual and Policy.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Designs and delivers the training and development programs
  • Researches and selects subject matter experts or outside consultants to assist in the design and/or delivery process when necessary for training and development
  • Develops/updates job descriptions in collaboration with other departmental/divisional managers
  • Develop metrics to assess effectiveness of training programs and ROI
  • Coordinates the annual Manpower Planning process for the Company.
  • Designs the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channels and recruitment source.
  • Ensures all vacancies are filled with the best qualified candidates based on their educational background, experience and skills within the targeted time.

Minimum Qualification, Experience and Skills

  • University Degree in Business Admin/Economics with7-10 years’ experience in Human Resources & Development areas.

Project Manager

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, or otherwise qualified in a relevant area, and a minimum of five years’ experience as a Project Manager in a Marine or Oil & Gas project environment.
  • Commercial awareness with experience of contract administration and Client management.
  • Broad IT experience and particularly an experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Fluent in the English language, verbal and written, with extensive experience of its use and application in all types of business communication.

Job Summary

  • The Project Manager is accountable for the preparation, direction, coordination, implementation, execution, monitoring, control, completion and close out of assigned projects, while always ensuring consistency with Company’s strategy, commitments and safety, quality, commercial and operational objectives.
  • The Project Manager is accountable for ensuring compliance with the Safety, Quality & Environmental requirements of ASRY on all assigned projects, leads by example and actively participates in, or implements, HSE initiatives as appropriate.
  • The role of the Project Manager is critical to the success of ASRY in delivering projects on time and on budget and requires a committed, proactive, and self-motivated character in order to achieve this, part of which is the understanding and acceptance of the requirement to often work irregular working hours.
