The Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard Company (ASRY) recently launched its annual afforestation campaign in conjunction with National Tree Week, held in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The event was launched in the presence of Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashed Al Khalifa, ASRY’s Deputy CEO, and Shaikh Duaij bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President for Corporate Support, along with several company officials, ASRY Ambassadors, and subcontractors who partnered with ASRY’s team in carrying out the initiative.

For his part, Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashed Al Khalifa reaffirmed ASRY’s ongoing dedication to supporting national drives that promote environmental awareness and foster a culture of sustainability. He highlighted the importance of strengthening institutional and community collaboration to protect the environment and expand Bahrain’s green spaces, helping create a healthier, greener environment and build a more sustainable future for generations to come.
