ASRY is seeking to recruit experienced individuals for the following positions:

1- Project Managers.

Challenging career with high growth potential. Qualified professional Engineers, having proven track record in the Offshore Sector. Minimum 7 years experience in similar capacity for major Rig refurbishment & upgrading, building offshore & onshore structures, and repairs of offshore support & construction vessels. 2- Commercial/Estimating Manager.

Challenging career with high growth potential. Qualified professional in Mechanical Engineering, having proven track record in the Offshore Sector. Minimum 7 years experience in similar capacity for major Rig refurbishment & upgrading, building offshore & onshore structures, and repairs of offshore support & construction vessels. 3- Estimators.

6- Steel Quantity Surveyor.

7- Electrical Maintenance Section Head.

Qualified Electrical Engineer with proven track record in major industry, preferably in Shiprepair Sector. Minimum 7 years experience in similar capacity. 9- Medical Officer (Arab).

Qualified Medical Doctor, Arab, preferably Bahraini, with proven track record in major industry, preferably in Shiprepair Sector. Minimum 5 years experience, preferably in occupational medicine. 10- Steel Fabrication Manager.

To meet its existing and future expansion demands, the shipyard offers a challenging career for an experienced Steel Fabrication Manager. Recent ship repair and shipbuilding experience with the strong background in repair/building and fabrication of offshore structures will be essential in order to effectively manage and direct the department with more than 300 Platers and welders and 50 supervisors working in workshops and on-board different size vessels.

The responsibilities include planning, preparation and implementation of repair schedule for vessels while ensuring quality standards as per ISO requirements with emphasis on the highest standard of safety.

11- Quality Control Engineer.

This position involves the responsibility of ensuring highest quality of the work. The candidates must have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Structural/Electrical Engineering from a reputed University with at least 15 years work experience in the same field, out of which minimum 6 years in Quality Control in heavy fabrication, preferably in offshore structures. They must be well familiar with the latest standards and procedures of Quality Systems of international standards and as defined in the Yard’s documented Quality Management System, QEH&S Manual and Policies. Special skills and experience in QC procedures and hands-on experience in MS Office & other required computer applications are must.

12- Estimator Invoicer.

To prepare tenders for clients showing cost estimates for specific repairs, modifications, projects, etc. Compile final invoices for clients detailing the price for completed work. Ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times. Ensure an acceptable standard of Quality, Environmental and OHSAS management system is maintained in accordance with recognized working practices and the Company's QEH&S Manual and Policy.

13- Contract Engineering Department Head.

Fully responsible for administration of all types of contracts mainly Technical Contracts covering Mechanical, Steel, Piping, Surface Preparation activities which includes, preparation and evaluation of Agreements with contractors, negotiations, finalization and co-ordination between sub-contractors and Production Departments. Follow-up and settling disputes etc, ensure executions are within the framework of Company's Financial Regulations and Policies, ensures legal and other requirements are met. Prepare tender documents, specifications, terms and conditions, tabulation and evaluation of bids. Negotiation and finalization of the tenders. Degree in Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture/Mechanical Eng. Excellent in spoken and written English. Candidate must have minimum 5 years experience in ship repair industry.

14- Contract Engineering Buyer.

Preparation and administration of contracts (mainly Technical Contracts relevant to ship repair activities) with vendors/subcontractors. Prepare tender documents, tabulation, and evaluation of technical and financial bids, adhering to the legal terms, scope of work, echnical specifications etc. To negotiate and settle agreements with Suppliers, Sub-contractors, Landlords /Estate Agents, Finalize Lease Agreements, Ensure obligations of Sub-Contractors / Suppliers etc are met. Degree in Marine /Mechanical Eng. / Materials Management. Candidate must have minimum 5 years experience in ship repair industry.

15- Material/Service Buyer.

To procure the right quality materials/direct service at minimum cost to the company within the parameters of Financial Regulations. Sound knowledge of General Marine, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering materials, services and techniques. Capable of verifying requisitions, to ensure adequacy and correctness of material descriptions/specifications, delivery dates, estimated price etc. Familiar with Marine Suppliers, prepares tender documents, tabulation, technical and financial evaluation of bids. Sound knowledge of L.Cs, insurance policies, INCOTERMS, Shipping lines, agents, Airlines, Ports & Customs regulations, clearance and dispatch activities. Candidate must have good judgment and negotiation skills, capable of working with E-Procurement Sys. Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Eng. or Materials Management. Candidate must have minimum 5 years experience in ship repair industry.
